• Inula racemosa is an Asian plant in the daisy family native to the temperate and alpine western Himalayas of Xinjiang, Afghanistan, Kashmir, Nepal, Pakistan. The roots are widely used locally in indigenous medicine as an expectorant and in veterinary medicine as a tonic.
